Ratauli Yuwa Club (RYC) is a an autonomous, non-partisan and non-profit organization (NGO) which was established in 2047 BS (1991 AD) in Mahottari District and is affiliated with SWC of Nepal. It was established by youths of Ratauli VDC (recently, it lies in WN-6 of Pipra Rural-municipality). In 2047 BS, they united together with commitment to increase the responsibility towards the people based on self-reliance, mutual cooperation and morality based on people’s life for the economic, social, cultural and physical development of rural, deprived and excluded communities in order to mobilize the young human resource of that areas.
The NGO is now contributing to the socio-economic development of Nepal since its inception in coordination and partnership with government, bilateral, international, and national non-governmental organizations.

It aims to facilitate and support deprived communities in ending all forms of discrimination and social evils, ensuring access to entitlements, promoting inclusion and sustainable development, combined with working in disaster response and humanitarian aid. Since its founding, RYC has been working in six districts of Madhesh Province – Mahottari, Dhanusha, Siraha, Saptari, Sarlahi, and Rautahat – as well as in Sindhuli district of Bagmati Province. Since inception to date, RYC possesses working experience with 92 development partners including donors, I/NGOs, NGOs and local governments, and is being used working with multiple projects in partnership with several development partners.

RYC is a well functional NGO with high credibility at the community level. Similarly, it is endowed with capable, unique, and energetic human resource (HR) team. Relevant policies and guidelines are in place, which are developed by professional experts. RYC possesses substantial work experience with eight different Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) indicators. Multiple development partners/donors have recognized and appreciated for its quality and timely deliverables and excellent performance. In like manner, RYC has proved effective community mobilization along with the strong coordination and partnership with multiple stakeholders. Local governments and community have better recognized and provided support. RYC has established MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) system for tracking project progress and evaluation. RYC has gained credibility in successful implementation of several projects/programs in Madhesh Province.
RYC has cultivated long-term partnership with multi-lateral and bi-lateral development partners and
there is increased focus of development partners and funding agencies on Madhesh Province in the current political dynamics. Ample opportunities are emerging to promote and expand RYC from a local NGO to a national NGO. Present local governments in Madhesh Province are gearing up to take ownership of RYC project interventions. For the rapid development of Madhesh Province, RYC is working for alignment with I/NGOs and government targets. Favorable opportunity is said to be possible with the existing human resources with inclusiveness and diversified technical expertise. High prospects can be presumed for extended collaboration and partnership with national and international organizations.
However, RYC has been executing its entire development interventions in coordination and partnership with government agencies, bilateral organizations, international development organizations, national non-governmental organizations, and Partner’s Partner Organizations/ Community Based Organizations.
